Position Overview

The Director, Advisor Enablement and Practice Management is responsible for ensuring Perigon’s advisory teams operate at their highest level across service, operations, and growth. This leader acts as a primary partner to advisory teams, helping them navigate Perigon’s resources, implement firm initiatives, and resolve operational and business challenges that impact their ability to serve clients and grow their practices. The role is deeply executional and field-facing, focused on driving consistency, accountability, and adoption across the advisor platform.

Working in close partnership with the Managing Director, Advisory Success and Integration, the Director will help run the day-to-day operating rhythm of the advisor business, ensuring advisors are supported, informed, and positioned to fully leverage Perigon’s capabilities in service of client outcomes, firm growth, and long-term enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as a trusted relationship manager for a defined group of advisory teams, maintaining regular communication and ongoing engagement.
  • Act as a liaison between advisors and internal teams (Operations, Investments, Technology, Marketing, Compliance) to ensure timely issue resolution and follow-through.
  • Proactively identify advisor needs, concerns, and opportunities to improve their experience with the firm.
  • Support advisors in understanding and accessing firm resources, tools, and programs.
  • Assist with onboarding and transition activities for new advisors in partnership with the Advisor Success and Integration team.
  • Coordinate meetings, touchpoints, and follow-ups to ensure a consistent and high-quality advisor experience.
  •  Track advisor engagement, feedback, and relationship health, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Participate in advisor events, training sessions, and firm meetings as needed.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, service-oriented culture across the Advisor Success organization.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in wealth management, advisor services, relationship management, or a client-facing role within an RIA, broker-dealer, or financial services firm.
  • Prior experience working directly with financial advisors or advisory teams is required; former advisor experience is a plus but not required.
  • Solid understanding of wealth management concepts, advisory firm operations, and the independent RIA environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, credibility, and long-term partnerships.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple advisor relationships simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment and collaborating across teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for advisor meetings and firm events.
  • Preferred location in Metro NYC with the ability to work out of one of the firm’s offices.
