Jim's Bio
After receiving his MFA in writing, Jim began a financial career by giving tax advice. Jim founded Weikart Tax Associates (WTA), and his firm thrived. After 34 years, WTA merged with Prager Metis CPAs, and Jim became a wealth advisor with Prager Metis Wealth. He is delighted to now be part of the Perigon Wealth Management team after another successful merger.
When he’s not wealth advising, he loves travel, tennis, poker and family. He also writes and has published three op eds in the New York Times on tax issues, as well as two mystery novels and many stories.
