Adam's Bio
Adam co-manages Gitterman Asset Management’s OCIO investment platform and specializes in thematic research, portfolio implementation, and the development of thematic asset allocation solutions for financial intermediaries and institutional clients.
He focuses on identifying long-term investible trends with significant economic implications, such as changes in energy systems, climate patterns, and the global monetary system, and incorporating those insights into diversified investment portfolios.
Adam speaks frequently at investment conferences throughout the United States and has been published in major financial outlets including Forbes, Barron’s, Financial Advisor Magazine, and MarketWatch. He began his career at Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth & Investment Management Division and on AllianceBernstein’s Thematic Portfolio Desk.
Adam holds a BSBA in Finance from Elon University, where he received a CFA Institute Recognition Scholarship, and earned his master’s degree in Sustainability Management from the Earth Institute at Columbia University, a leading center for climate science and global systems research, where he developed the interdisciplinary framework that informs the investment strategies he helps to lead.
