Robert's Bio
Bob Sloan has accomplished a great deal in his very successful career, but above all, he is passionate about relationships and managing money. It comes through in the way he customizes each client experience based on their unique situation and goals; in the way he manages 9-figure portfolios with ease; how he invests in developing people around him. As a client, you’ll benefit from Bob’s strategic business acumen earned while building seven businesses from the ground up.
A few career highlights:
After graduating with a BS degree in Business Economics and an MBA from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Bob started out in international banking where he was a loan officer for Continental Illinois Bank covering Latin America. From there, he continued to rapidly grow revenues, net income and relationships for Security Pacific and CIBC where he specialized in corporate lending for Fortune 500 companies with a focus on the energy sector. Bob later moved into the private client business with Merrill Lynch London as the Central European Regional Private Banking head. During this time, he was elected to the board of directors of Merrill Lynch International Bank, promoted to Assistant Regional Director of the Central European Brokerage Unit and was one of four International Global Internal Product Specialists for the firm.
In early 2000, Bob decided to focus on his passions: relationship and money management and business consulting. While at Merrill Lynch Zurich he expanded his base of private clients throughout Europe and later co-founded Sloan Asset Management AG to manage clients and assets on a global basis. Bob joined Perigon Wealth Management in 2020.
Bob and his wife live in Delray Beach, FL.
