David's Bio

David brings almost 20 years of wealth management experience to Perigon. David’s background and expertise center on helping affluent and high net worth individuals make asset allocation, portfolio management and financial planning decisions. He is also highly adept at portfolio manager research and due diligence, particularly in the context of making sure a given strategy is an optimal fit for a client’s portfolio. He shares valuable insights regarding market trends, investor issues and financial planning practices in his monthly blog, “From the Ground Up.”

Prior to joining Perigon in June 2018, David was a Director at Avondale Partners, LLC, a boutique investment banking and wealth management firm based in Nashville, TN with offices around the country.

David’s background also includes two years as Vice President, Investments at UBS Financial Services, Inc., and more than five years as Vice President and Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley where he was part of Morgan’s Wealth Advisor Program — a training program offered to the top 10% of Morgan’s Advisors, specifically tailored to helping them serve the needs of High Net Worth clients.

David, based in Perigon’s home office, is a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago where he earned a BS in both Finance and Marketing and a minor in French Literature. He recently completed the Personal Financial Planning program University of California, Berkeley, where he won the Outstanding Student Award in 2017. In his spare time, he enjoys distance running, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife Casey and their three young children.
